AN OWN–INITIATIVE PROJECT OR CHALLENGE THAT HAS LED TO EACH DAY OF 2020 HAVING ITS OWN BROOCH.
There were three rules for this challenge: a total of 366 brooches must be made, each brooch must be 25×25 mm square, and it must be wearable. Everything else was just my ability to “think outside the box”.
This project was not just about beautiful jewelry and unique brooches, it is a story about self–discipline, time planning, motivation, expanding the boundaries of creativity, as well as the search for new technical solutions and materials.
During the “366 brooches” challenge, I concluded that Muse as such did not exist at all. Everything is determined by a conscious and systematised process of creation. The more you think, research, seek, the more you are able to create, discover and see. When I started this project, I had no idea that it will become the most interesting and valuable adventure in my creative person’s life.
